Bulldog Canyon is part of the “Great Western Trail” in Arizona, traveling through the Tonto National Forest’s Goldfield Mountains and Sonoran Desert. It offers incredible views of the nearby Superstition Mountains and is home to some of Arizona’s most infamous legends.
The Rolls at Saguaro Lake off-road route passes through the Sonoran Desert landscape and contains a section of the Great Western Trail. The highest elevation point along this route is 2560 feet. From the main Bush Highway entrance to this trail it is a 12.1 mile drive to reach the off-road access areas (coves) of Saguaro Lake. There are 4 coves to choose from to swim at.
